This vintage salad serving set by Gorham features the timeless and elegant "Chantilly" pattern, known for its intricate, scroll-like motifs and delicate detailing on the sterling silver handles. The set includes a fork and spoon made of durable black melamine, which shows some scratches from prior use, yet remains in functional condition. Shipping: Although Hawaii is part of the United States, it is important to know when purchasing items that shipping times can be a bit longer and shipping charges can be a bit higher than for the US mainland. Packing material: I charge you my costs for all packing materials used. However, this is Hawaii and not the continental US, and everything has to be shipped in from out of state. To give you an idea, a shipping box, if it is not a free one from the Post Office, costs between $4 - $9. Bubble wrap costs $1 per foot and I usually use at least 3 or 4 feet or more for breakable items. Foam chips per box (book box size) will be between $8 - $10, and packing tape costs me $3 a small roll.

Condition: This set is in fair pre-owned condition. The spoon and fork exhibit visible tarnish and patina consistent with age and use, particularly on the heads. There are no significant dents or damage but some scratches on the melamine fork & spoon areas. The set retains its overall shape and functionality. Please see photos for details.
