Up for sale from a recent estate in Honolulu Hawaii, this 1990s Hawaii framed expressionist style collage that is titled "How much for that Lady in the window" and was created by the local artist Toni Martin. More about the artist:
Antoinette Martin is an art professor at Windward Community College where she is also the director of Gallery ʻIolani. She teaches 2-D design, color theory, gallery design and management, and beginning drawing and painting. Martin was awarded the University of Hawaiʻi Excellence in Teaching Award, and a Service-Learning Award from the University of Hawaiʻi for her community art programs. Martinʻs work is regularly accepted in juried exhibitions and she has received awards from the Pastel Society of America in New York, Pastel Society of Hawaiʻi, as well as several other awards in Hawaiʻi for her pastels. In October 2013, Martin was awarded the first place award in the pastel Artists of Hawaiʻi annual juried exhibition. Her work is in local, national and international collections including the Hawaiʻiʻs State Foundation on Culture and the Arts, she has received commissions for Saint Francis Hospital and Hawaiian Airlines in Hawaiʻi.
Condition: The item is overall in good pre-owned condition, the frame is fine, it comes with the exhibit tag that has the name of the artist and title of the piece, no issues
