Up for sale from a recent client in Honolulu Hawaii, this Vintage Hawaii 3x strand pikake style, lightly brown spotted, momi shell, Niihau shell necklace with cowry shell clasp. An independent appraiser inspected, described and evaluated the item. He pointed out that the shells are very well matched in size, color and luster without any sand residue. The items were consigned from the original owner who lives on the island of Kauai, the necklace was purchased between 1950 and 1970 from a friend who lives on the island of Niihau.
