This item comes from recently acquired Honolulu estate. Fine Chinese jadeite hand carved peach with playful young monkeys - all very auspicious and lucky. The peach represents longevity while the monkey is regarded as an intelligent, smart, lively, and brave animal. This larger piece of jade has some nice 'green jade' shades in it with visible striations and inclusions throughout. The condition is described above - for more information please check the photos.
