Up for sale from a recent client in Honolulu Hawaii this pair of vintage Chinese hardwood carved assembled male and female lion dog sculptures with animated expressions, each with black glass inset eyes. Despite the shown stable condition issues the pieces are very charming. The tails can be removed. They will be professionally packed for safe travels. They are indoor pieces. The sculptures range from 17 inches to 18 inches in height and weight combined over 30lb

The item is overall in stable pre-owned condition, old insect damage (not active), some cracking and losses to the finish in places, chips, the sculpture's are assembled and not carved from a single block, some of the joints of the wood are clearly visible, dispite all of the issues described and shown the piece are exceedingly charming
