Japanese Gild Amitabha Buddha w Radiant Halo (MiM)

Up from a recent Honolulu estate is this circa 1950's statue of Amina Nyorai (Amitabha Buddha). It is a unique statue with a radiant halo at the back and vibrant gold tones. Amina Nyorai is regarded as one of the principle Buddhas reviewed in Mahayana Buddhism.
