Up for sale from a recent client in Honolulu Hawaii this 2010s US Hawaii abstract acrylic mixed media painting on canvas that is titled "Tom Mu R.I.P."and is from the "No Graffiti in Honolulu" series and was created by the well known artist Jerome Wallace (born 1931). The condition is described above for more details please check the photos. This series was conceived after the artist observed a group of teens graffitiing the Kapahulu neighborhood...he used their graffiti as inspiration for this series and included images and photos he took into his acrylic mixed media paintings.

Jerome Wallace (1931-) is a painter and printmaker, ands is especially known for his batik work, in Honolulu, Hawaii. He has participated in solo and group exhibitions throughout Europe and the United States. Wallace was born in Ohio and attended the Carnegie Institute of Technology and Texas Christian University. Jerome is an American ballet dancer, painter, batik artist, dramatic performer, director who has lived most of his life on the island of Kauai, Hawaii. He was noted as America's foremost aesthetic and technical innovator in the ancient art of batik. He is widely known for reviving batik art in the Western world after learning the craft in his travels to Indonesia.
