Aloha,

Up for sale from a recent well known collectors estate in Honolulu Hawaii this group of 6x pieces of Prehistoric Iron Age, Prehistoric Thai ceramic roller, Ban Chiang Site, Iron Age, Late Period (300 BC - 400 AD) that come with a acrylic stand (in case you don't want the stand shipping will be cheaper than shown).

Ban Chiang, in northeast Thailand on the Khorat Plain, is arguably the most famous prehistoric site in Southeast Asia. It represents a village of about 4,000 years continuous occupation, from around 3,600 BCE (Neolithic) to AD 200 (Iron Age). It is noted for its bronzes and ceramics. It has been classified into three periods (from ceramics): the Early Period was dated between 3,600 BCE to 1,000 BCE; Middle 1,000 BCE -300 BCE; and Late Period 300 BCE - AD 100. Ban Chiang is only one of a spectrum of sites representing Prehistoric Thailand. The condition is described above - for more details please check the photos.

This is only one of about 200 pieces that will be listed in the coming days and weeks from this collection. We were very fortunate for having been chosen to work with the estate. There are many items that I have not seen outside of well stocked museums. The tags that are attached to the items are from a gallery here in Honolulu and the pricing on the tags was what these items were offered for. I am delighted to offer all pieces at significantly lower rates and hope that these items will find new homes in collections all over the world.
