Up for sale from a recent estate in Honolulu Hawaii this 3x piece group of Chinese Grisaille - decorated yellow ground Dayazhai jars and bowl, each with Yong Qing Chang Chun mark in iron red, Guangxu Period (1875-1908). The lemon-yellow exterior is decorated in grisaille with a wisteria vine in which a bird is perched, and is inscribed below the foliate rim with three characters in ron red, dayazhai, besides a seal reading tian de yi jia chun (springtime in heaven and earth, one family). There is a comparable bowl that sold by itself at Christie's for $62,000. The pieces were inspected and described by an Asian Fine Arts appraiser that confirmed their authenticity.
