Up for sale from a recent estate in Honolulu Hawaii this group of 2x 19th century Chinese Qing dynasty framed in modern gilt frames multicolor pith watercolor paintings on paper that depict Ladies in seated position cutting fabric and washing their hands. The brushwork is excellent!! An Asian Arts appraiser inspected the items, gave me the information listed above and confirmed their authenticity. Condition:
Overall good pre-owned condition, #1 lady cutting fabric has some discoloration consistent with age and and 9x small puncture holes from the top down to the bottom off center to the right but is otherwise stable, #2 has discolorations consistent with age, minor brown stains in places and a half inch sized hole on the top right hand corner, also otherwise stable, it is recommended that the frames be opened and the glass is being cleaned from the inside
