Up for sale from a recent collector in Honolulu Hawaii these 2x Papua New Guinea Sing-sing bracelet or angklet, Kupkain, Upper Sepek River, PNG woven coconut fiber and shell men's Sing-Sing armband, Angorum Village, lower Sepek River, PNG Very nice herring bone weave. Much used. These adornments were used in the dancing regalia for the Sing-Sings. the items were bought from a young woman. The puka shells would rattle with the dancing.. This is only one of about 300 pieces that will be listed in the coming days and weeks from this collection. We were very fortunate for having been chosen to work with the estate. There are many items that I have not seen outside of well stocked museums. I hope that these items will find new homes in collections all over the world.
