Up for sale from a recent consignor in Honolulu Hawaii, this 2x piece 1940s or 1950s Hawaii group of black and white etching and aquatint prints that depict nude woman the larger of the two is titled Hortense and the smaller one is titled Head of a Girl. Both pieces are titled and signed in pencil by the artist Jean Evans who was a student of John Melville Kelly. The condition is described above for more information please check the photos. The item comes from the estate of the well known Hawaii print makes John Melville Kelly and was probably traded with the artist or could be a piece by a student.

The items is overall in good pre-owned condition, even toning throughout, with some crease marks in the margins for the small print and two horizontal creases across the larger print, hinging tape residue, minor foxing in places, Jean Evans was a student of John Kelly, comes from the John Melville Kelly estate and was probably traded with the artist
