Up for sale from a recent estate in Honolulu Hawaii this first half of the 20th century American etching print that is titled "Pecheurs de Crevettes" and is signed in pencil by the well known artist William Anderson Sherwood. The condition is described above. The item will be shipped flat without the original folder.

William A. Sherwood (1875-1951)
Born on February 13, 1875 in Baltimore, Maryland, he studied at St. John's College in Annapolis between 1889 and 1893 and later at the Antwerp Royal Academy of Fine Arts in Belgium.
Sherwood lived in Bruges, Belgium for more than 20 years. He made his name in Belgian painting circles for his surrealist water color interpretations of dreams. Several of his paintings and etchings are in the collection of Queen Mother Elizabeth of Belgium.
He died in Bruges in August of 1951.

paper evenly toned throughout, light foxing in places, never been framed before, was stored in the original folder out of sunlight for the past 60+ years, the upper margins has hinges attached to the front
