The item is overall in acceptable pre-owned condition, the green felt that is attached to the underside is in tatters and needs to be replaced, there is no key for the lock and the lock cover that was inset is missing, the other gilt metal inset accents are scratched but all there, when opened up the underside of the top is covered in leather that is slightly lose in one corner, there is also some edge veneer wood that shows losses, the base with a hinged document drawer folds up, the hinges are working well, overall just in need of some TLC
