Up for sale from a recent client in Honolulu Hawaii this circa 1950s Balinese wooden carved sculpture that depicts two horses playfully biting each other's heals and is signed by Wj Ajun (additionally dari Bardja Rutu dst Peliatan, Gianyar). As you can see the base is incised with the shape of the island of Bali and the artist marked his name and the village he was from (I have enhanced that design in one photo by going over it with white to show it in greater detail). The sculpture is beautifully carved with great detail and skill.
