His sketched interpretations of the "Kumulipo: Hawaiian Hymn of Creation" were shown at Honolulu's Queen Emma Gallery in 1987, shortly before Feher's death at age 79. The series depicts 22 images from the Hawaiian story of creation, and genealogy of the Hawaiian people. Aside from his fine art, he was an accomplished magazine, and book illustrator, a wood carver, and calligrapher. He was also knowledgeable about the Japanese language, especially the hidden meanings of Japanese words. He died in Honolulu in 1987.
