Up for sale from a recent estate in Honolulu Hawaii, this circa 1876 German framed oil on board painting showing a Austrian Alpine Landscape by the famous Königssee showing a small boat going across the lake that was created by the well known artist Bernhard Fiedler (1816-1904). The back of the canvas is inscribed in the artists hand. The condition is described above for more information please check the photos.

Bernhard Fiedler ( 1816 Berlin - 1904 Triest ). The artist studied at the Berlin Art Academy and was also a pupil of decoration painter Johann Gerst and marine painter Wilhelm Kraus. After he finished his study he lived in Venice, Trieste and Dalmatia in 1843, he received the prohibition from King Friedrich Wilhelm IV to paint castles of Count Coll´Alto in Friaul. In 1848 he was a drawing teacher by Great Duchess Charlotte, wife of Austrian Duce Maximilian (
